Review everything you've learned in your first week, from the alphabet and greetings to the verb 'être' and introductions. Test your knowledge!

Pascal says: Wow, one week already! You've learned so much. It's time to put all the pieces together and see how far you've come. This is a review day to make sure you've mastered the absolute essentials. Prêt? (Ready?)

🎯 Today's Mission

  • Review the key concepts from Days 1-6.
  • Test your knowledge with a comprehensive quiz.
  • Build your confidence to move on to Week 2!

Section 1: What You've Mastered

  • Greetings: You can say Bonjour, Bonsoir, and the casual Salut.
  • Politeness: You know the magic words: s'il vous plaît, merci, and de rien.
  • The Verb ÊTRE: You have memorized the foundation of French: je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils/elles sont.
  • Introductions: You can say your name with Je m'appelle... and ask for someone else's.
  • Checking In: You can ask Ça va? and give a variety of responses.

Section 2: Week 1 Review Quiz

Pascal: Let's test your knowledge! Take your time and remember everything you've learned.

You enter a pharmacy at 3 PM. What is the most appropriate greeting?

Which letter is silent in the word 'trop' (too much)?

Complete the sentence: 'Vous ___ fatigué.'

You're asking your friend for a pencil. You say:

How do you say 'Her name is Sophie'?

A stranger asks you, 'Comment allez-vous?'. What is a good, formal response?

Lesson Summary

Pascal: Félicitations! (Congratulations!) You completed your first week of French. You have built a solid foundation that will support you for the rest of your language-learning journey. I am very proud of you!
