What's the difference between TCF Canada, TEF Canada, DELF and DALF?
TCF Canada and TEF Canada are the two exams IRCC accepts for Express Entry French-language points. DELF and DALF are the internationally recognized diplomas (A1 through C2) that never expire — useful for university admissions or work visas, but not directly used for CRS scoring the way TCF/TEF are.
How realistic are the mock exams compared to the real test?
Mock exams are timed and structured to match the official format for each section (listening, reading, writing, speaking) so you build the same pacing and question habits you'll need on exam day, not just general practice.
Which exam should I take for Express Entry?
Either TCF Canada or TEF Canada is accepted for Express Entry. TCF Canada tends to be more widely available in India through Alliance Française centres; TEF Canada is preferred if you're also applying to Quebec programs.
How many mock exams should I take before the real test?
Most candidates take 3-5 full mock exams in the final month before their test date, focusing extra practice on whichever section (usually speaking or writing) is scoring below their target CLB/NCLC level.
