IRCC eliminated job offer points from Express Entry CRS scoring.

OLD: Job offer = +50-200 CRS points

NEW: Job offer = 0 CRS points

Why?

Canada shifted strategy: Instead of rewarding job offers, they're prioritizing critical occupations (doctors, nurses, trades). Specialty occupation draws launched.

Impact on Your Score

Before: Job offer gave 50-200 pts depending on NOC code/salary

Now: Your job offer still matters for visa sponsorship, but doesn't boost CRS

Good News

✅ Specialty occupation draws now give MUCH LOWER CRS cutoffs
✅ Physicians: CRS 169
✅ Nurses: CRS 200
✅ Trades: CRS 260-300

Bottom Line

Job offers alone won't boost your CRS anymore, BUT your occupation matters more. If you're in critical shortage (healthcare, trades), you get invited at much lower CRS instead.
