Your 6-Week A1 Roadmap
This structured curriculum takes you from zero to A1 proficiency. Each week has clear lessons and daily assignments. By week 6, you'll introduce yourself, handle basic transactions, and understand simple conversations.
Week 1: Foundations & Phonetics
Day 1-2: French Alphabet & Pronunciation
- Learn 26 French letters (pronunciation differs from English)
- Practice 5 new French sounds daily (R, U, nasal vowels, OU vs U)
- Daily assignment: Record yourself pronouncing 20 French words
Day 3-5: Numbers 0-100
- Learn 0-20 (zéro, un, deux...)
- Learn tens (30, 40, 50... up to 100)
- Daily assignment: Write and speak numbers aloud 10x daily
Day 6-7: Greetings & Courtesies
