The Beginning
I was exactly where you are now.
When I started preparing for the TCF Canada exam, I was completely lost. I spent hours studying grammar rules, watching YouTube videos, and buying expensive textbooks — but I had no idea if my speaking flow was natural or if my writing structure actually met what examiners look for.
Private tutors were charging $50–$80 an hour, which wasn't realistic for most people preparing for immigration exams. The free resources online were scattered, inconsistent, and didn't reflect what's actually tested.
So I went deep. I analysed real exam questions, studied the scoring rubrics, and practiced obsessively. Eventually I cracked the code — the exact connectors, the paragraph structure, the speaking patterns that examiners reward. I hit my target score.
